Individual Therapy

I offer individual therapy for adults (18+), with a specialization in modern, evidence-based therapies. Whether you already have a sense of what's important to you or aren't sure what you want your life to look like, my goal as a therapist is to help identify what's getting in your way and develop effective approaches for moving forward with meaning, purpose, and joy.

Clients tend to describe my style as compassionate, authentic, and collaborative. I aim to create space for you to show up fully and authentically in our work together, offering support around your difficulties as well as concrete skills and interventions to help you move toward the life you want.

 

I have expertise in several evidence-based therapies, meaning treatments that have been demonstrated in research studies to be effective, including:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy

  • Cognitive Processing Therapy

  • Prolonged Exposure

These treatments are helpful for diagnoses like anxiety, depression, and PTSD as well as common concerns such as stress, relationship difficulties, and challenges at school or work. I also offer specialized interventions for sleep problems.

I provide individual therapy in person in Santa Monica as well as via telehealth anywhere in California.

Couple Therapy

Whether you are experiencing ongoing difficulties in your relationship or are seeking a space to talk through minor concerns before they become significant stressors, couple therapy can provide a helpful space to receive support, resolve challenges, and move toward an increased sense of connection and well-being in your relationship. I practice Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy (IBCT), an evidence-based treatment shown to be effective in improving relationship satisfaction, including for couples in which one or both partners has personal mental health concerns.

My focus as a therapist is on helping each of you express your perspective, communicate more effectively, and address any challenges that arise in your relationship, including common concerns like intimacy, kids, in-laws and extended families, and household management. I am always on the side of the relationship rather than any one individual.

 

I provide couple therapy in person in Santa Monica as well as via telehealth across California.

Clinical Supervision and Consultation

I provide one-on-one clinical supervision for trainees and consultation for licensed mental health care providers across disciplines who are interested in learning evidence-based, cognitive behavioral therapies including ACT, CBT, DBT, CPT, and PE. My style is supportive and collaborative with an emphasis on providing specific feedback to help you integrate evidence-based interventions into your natural, authentic style as a therapist.

I also offer consultation around evidence-based best practices in clinical supervision. Whether you are supervising for the first time, looking for a guidance around a challenging supervisory relationship, or seeking to reacquaint yourself with contemporary best practices, consultation can be an effective avenue for growth as a supervisor.  High quality clinical supervision is a passion of mine, and I would love to help you increase your efficacy and enjoyment as a supervisor.

Workshops and Trainings

I offer workshops and trainings to organizations and corporations on a variety of topics, including evidence-based best practices in clinical supervision, cognitive behavioral treatment modalities and interventions, and psychological science-based skills to enhance performance (e.g., translating psychological science to maximize efficacy in the workplace). My trainings are grounded in the evidence base and prioritize experiential, interactive learning. My hope is that you can leave these sessions not just knowing more about a topic, but possessing a clear sense of how to implement new strategies effectively.
